As enduring as the story it portrays, the six-piece nativity is as loved today as when it was originally introduced in 2000. its simplicity and form has made it a timeless classic. as a christmas gift, wedding gift or self-purchase, the willow tree nativity continues on as a family tradition.
I ordered this nativity for my daughter's Christmas. It arrived in a timely manner and was well packed. There was a warning not to lift Joseph by the staff on top of the inside box; for which extra care was taken to remove him from the box.
The set is beautiful. In fact, my daughter is thinking about leaving it on display in her apartment for the year. It has been admired by every visitor to our home.
Joseph is about 9 inches tall and Mary is about 6 inches in a kneeling position. They are sturdy feeling and are a joy to look at.
I can't wait to order additional pieces over the next couple of Christmases to complete her set. If the company is offering the competitive prices they offered this year, I will gladly order from them again.
We got the order fast and the pieces were of great quality. My mom is collecting the entire set. They look great. You can't find anything to compare to this nativity.
A couple of years ago we bought Willow Tree Nativity Set and it is one of my favorite Christmas decorations. I've been planing on getting all the other parts of the extended Willow Tree nativity scene, and this year we bought this beautiful and elegant creche. The pictures don't do justice to this wonderful creche - it is really very elegant and it makes the whole Nativity Scene feel very well structured and more meaningful. I was also surprised by how large this creche was. The creche does not come assembled, but the assembly couldn't have been easier. It did not require any tools, just placing all the peaces in their appropriate positions.
Our Nativity scene looks really pretty this year, and we are looking forward to adding more of the Willow Tree figurines in the upcoming years.
Beautiful nativity set leaves faces uncarved and unpainted to leave room for imagination. The shape of each piece is so graceful and peaceful, it captures the spirit of the Holy Family at the moment of the first Christmas perfectly.
The colors are also neutral so that it blends in nicely with just about any decor.
